Allied Digestive Health, a partner-led group of gastroenterology specialists across more than 45 offices and endoscopy centers, is seeking a Full Time Lead Infusion RN to support our growing infusion program. In this role, you will provide hands-on, high-quality infusion nursing care while guiding a small team in a collaborative, patient-focused environment that emphasizes compassionate service and clinical excellence.
As the Lead Infusion RN, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering infusion therapies for patients with a wide range of digestive and related conditions. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, start and manage peripheral and central line infusions, monitor patients for therapeutic response and adverse reactions, and provide clear education to patients and families about their treatment plans. You will use evidence-based protocols and your advanced clinical judgment to ensure safe medication administration, accurate dosage calculations, and meticulous adherence to aseptic technique and infection control standards.
You will serve as a clinical resource and working leader for the infusion team, helping to orient and mentor nurses and support staff, organize daily schedules, and promote an efficient workflow that reduces wait times and enhances the patient experience. In close partnership with our gastroenterologists and advanced practice providers, you will help coordinate care before, during, and after infusions, communicate changes in patient status, and support seamless transitions between the clinic, endoscopy center, and outside providers when needed.
The Lead Infusion RN will play a key role in maintaining regulatory and safety compliance. You will ensure accurate and timely electronic health record documentation, verify orders, follow double-check procedures for high-risk medications, and participate in quality improvement activities and audits. You will help develop and refine infusion-related policies, patient education materials, and clinical pathways to support consistent, high-quality care across our locations. Your leadership will help cultivate a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning within the infusion service.
This full-time position offers a predictable schedule in an outpatient setting with the possibility of limited hybrid work for administrative and coordination tasks, depending on practice needs. Allied Digestive Health provides a competitive compensation package that may include eligibility for performance-based bonuses, along with comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan. You will join a supportive, multidisciplinary team where your infusion expertise and passion for patient-centered care are highly valued, and where you can grow your career while contributing meaningfully to the digestive health of our communities.
If you are an experienced infusion RN who enjoys leading by example, collaborating closely with physicians, and providing calm, compassionate care to patients undergoing complex treatments, we invite you to bring your skills and leadership to Allied Digestive Health.
