We’re hiring a
Staff Data Engineer
to help build and scale the data + AI foundation behind personalized healthcare. You’ll design secure, real-time and batch data pipelines, integrate complex healthcare data, and collaborate across teams to deliver impactful, data-driven experiences.
What You’ll Do Build and scale real-time + batch data infrastructure (Kafka, Spark, DuckDB) Design robust, secure, and scalable data pipelines Lead technical decisions, mentor teammates, and drive best practices Build APIs and backend services (Python, FastAPI, MongoDB, cloud-native) Ensure observability, security, and compliance (HIPAA, HITECH)
What You Bring 8+ years in software/data engineering; 3+ years with distributed systems Strong Python (Pandas, PySpark, FastAPI), Prefect/Airflow experience Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, K8s, CI/CD) Experience with or interest in healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7) Strong problem-solving, communication, and mentoring mindset
