Responsibilities
Drive sales performance and manage key client relationships.
Execute the regional sales strategy under the direction of the Vice President of Sales.
Manage, develop, and grow the general sales (customer success) team.
Assist team members on a daily basis and manage internal sales admin related architecture.
Analyze account management tasks such as stock, inventory, and deliverables using Microsoft Excel.
Responsible for growth and retention of the customer base.
Essential Skills
Willing to travel domestically up to 40% of the time if needed.
Strong sales acumen with excellent negotiation and closing skills.
Effective communication and relationship-building abilities with a client‑centric approach.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and data‑driven sales processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Aviation Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5–7 years of sales experience in the aviation industry with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
Experience in B2B sales (inside sales or account management), preferably within aviation distribution or related sectors.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Solid understanding of the US aviation market and its key players.
Experience in B2B sales, preferably within aviation distribution or related sectors.
Results‑driven with a proactive and solution‑oriented mindset.
Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Adaptable to a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Work Environment This is an onsite role with a smaller, close‑knit team where you will have significant influence and leadership opportunities. The position reports to the Vice President of Sales, offering the ability to grow in the role and increase responsibility.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.
Pay and Benefits
Pay range: $40.80 – $45.68 per hour.
