Responsibilities What you’ll do…
Product and Requirements Management: Participate in and/or lead the development of requirements, features, user stories, use cases, and test cases. Participate in stand‑up operations meetings.
Author: Process, Technical Design and Support Documents.
Design/Develop/Test/Deploy: Collaborate with the broader FPI Telematics team on solution designs, development, and deployment.
Incident, Problem, Change/Service Requests: Participate and/or lead incident, problem, change, and service‑request related activities, including root‑cause analysis and proactive problem‑management/defect‑prevention activities.
Delivery of products that include React front‑ends and Spring/Cloud services that enable customers.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
3+ years of professional experience in web development, with a strong emphasis on building responsive, user‑facing features.
3+ years of experience with front‑end development using React.
1 year of professional experience developing or maintaining back‑end components using the Spring Framework and JVM‑based languages (e.g., Java or Kotlin).
1+ year experience with CI/CD tools, pipelines, and version control (Git) within a front‑end deployment workflow.
Preferred Qualifications
Highly effective in working with other technical experts, Product Managers, Dev Ops, Big Data, UI/UX Designers, and business stakeholders.
Experience with restful interfaces and OAS standards.
Comfortable with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery tools and pipelines.
Experience with GCP or other cloud providers such as AWS or Azure.
Experience with testing frameworks like Jest or Karma.
Ability to follow and improve coding practices, coding standards, design standards, and team Agile practices.

This position is salary grade 2. The role also falls within a range of salary grades 6–8.

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
