This role is a #Hybrid position requiring three days per week on‑site in Rogers, Arkansas. You will lead the insights partnership between Acosta Group and a nationally recognized Fortune 500 client—leveraging leading‑edge data and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver high‑value, data‑driven solutions. You’ll identify the right data, diagnose business challenges, and provide recommendations that drive smarter decisions and stronger results. Responsibilities
Analyze complex data and provide thoughtful, proactive guidance and recommendations addressing the 4‑Ps (product, pricing, promotion, placement) for General Merchandise & HBC categories. Lead and direct the category review process through the 3‑call process while engaging with cross‑functional teams to provide a complete category management solution. Build compelling sales presentations using syndicated, shopper, and other sources of data that provide in‑depth analysis and solutions addressing current business issues. Understand client’s KPIs that drive profit and sales and deliver data reports to the scorecard or validate progress. Provide follow‑up and summarize results of analysis; create case studies and success stories. Qualifications
Education Requirements
High School Diploma/GED, Bachelor’s Degree (preferred). Related work experience can be substituted for the educational requirement. Strong understanding of Walmart Modular Relay process and merchandising principles. Category Management Certification preferred. Work Experience Requirements
3‑5 years related work experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Solid working knowledge of the CPG industry (data sources, tools, concepts, etc.) working with POS, panel and loyalty data. Proficient with industry tools utilized in the completion of the work assigned, such as NIQ Discover, Circana Unify, and Walmart Scintilla Charter. Advanced proficiency in Windows and related software applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI. Advanced skill in plan preparation and delivering effective solutions. Extrapolate opportunities to drive results based on analysis of a business challenge or opportunity. Communicate clearly and effectively while understanding and adapting to the audience. Independently manages and, at times, leads project plans and assumes responsibility for tracking, communication, and timing. Break down larger problems into smaller components and potential resolutions. Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, earning trust and respect to enable seamless collaboration and drive effective execution.
