Working as a School Psychologist with Point Quest Group, you will perform cognitive, academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional assessments; interpret data; and translate your findings into clear, actionable recommendations. You will contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and multi-tiered systems of support, ensuring that interventions are evidence-based, data-driven, and aligned with each student’s unique profile. You will also provide consultation and coaching to teachers and staff on classroom strategies, behavior supports, and systems that foster positive learning environments.
You will be an integral member of multidisciplinary teams, participating in problem-solving meetings, eligibility determinations, progress reviews, and placement decisions in accordance with IDEA, state regulations, and ethical practice standards. The position includes providing direct and indirect interventions such as individual or group counseling, social skills instruction, behavioral coaching, and short-term crisis support. You will support crisis intervention and risk assessment processes as needed, helping schools respond effectively and safely to student needs.
Point Quest Group provides tailored educational and behavioral support services, specializing in Special Education and Healthcare. Our culture is supportive and inclusive, emphasizing collaboration, innovation, and professional growth. As part of our team, you will have access to ongoing training and development, opportunities to refine your assessment and intervention skills, and mentorship within a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment. We value diversity and culturally responsive practice, and we encourage our School Psychologists to bring curiosity, flexibility, and a growth mindset to their work.
This full-time position typically follows a school-based schedule with a hybrid work environment that may include services in schools, community-based settings, and some flexibility for planning and documentation. You will manage a reasonable caseload, prioritize services based on student needs, and maintain accurate, timely documentation and reports. In return, Point Quest Group offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401k, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day. Joining Point Quest Group means becoming part of a committed team focused on supporting students, families, and school partners while fostering your own personal and professional development.
