Intermountain Health is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Radiology Technologist – Registry Eligible to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in a fast-paced clinical environment, supporting physicians and care teams in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Working within a not-for-profit, community-focused health system renowned for clinical excellence and innovation, you will perform a variety of radiographic procedures, including routine and specialized exams, while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and privacy. You will prepare and position patients, verify orders, follow evidence-based imaging protocols, and operate digital radiography and related imaging equipment in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards. A strong commitment to radiation safety, including ALARA principles, proper shielding, and equipment quality checks, is essential. You will interact closely with patients and families, explaining procedures, addressing questions, and demonstrating empathy and professionalism in every encounter. Collaboration is central to this role: you will work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other members of the care team to prioritize studies, ensure high-quality images, and support timely clinical decision-making. You will be responsible for accurate documentation, proper use of the electronic medical record and PACS, exam tracking, and maintaining patient confidentiality. As a registry-eligible technologist, you will be expected to actively pursue and obtain ARRT certification and applicable state licensure within the required timeframe, with support and mentorship from experienced colleagues.
