Sales Support Coordinator
Provides administrative support to assigned Sales Consultant(s). Serves as the first line of communication between the client, prospect, broker or consultant for questions and inquiries. Responsibilities: Supports Sales Consultant for prospecting and all areas related to business acquisition (Benefits Quote Requests, account worksheets, certificate, and Summary Plan Description (SPD) review, WebBen system creation and review system maintenance, group reporting, etc.). Organizes and coordinates details related to successful group implementation with internal departments and business distribution channels. Mines and logs information related to Sales in Goldmine and other resources as directed. Maintains knowledge of healthcare environment and impact MMO product and processes and maintains an active Ohio Department of Insurance (ODI) licensing status. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelors' Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred, but will consider collective experience, training and education. 2 years support experience in a financial services, health insurance, customer service or related environment. Accident & Health License with Ohio Department of Insurance (ODI) (required to obtain within 4 months of hire). Knowledge of health insurance products and sales and service operations (underwriting, stop loss, benefit plan design, funding). Intermediate MS Office Skills (Excel, Word and Power Point).
