Design Works Gaming is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Scottsdale team. This role will collaborate with software developers, system operators and other IT staff members to manage code releases. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for bridging the gap between our development teams' needs and the implementation of infrastructure to support those needs. Ideal candidate is not afraid to learn new technologies, languages, and frameworks. This role requires impeccable communication and problem-solving skills. Your Role and Impact: Put into practice container concepts and container orchestration Incorporate application and infrastructure security best practices Implement continuous test automation across the pipeline Use SQL and/or NoSQL technologies experience Assist with the development of Azure, VMware, or similar cloud platforms, SDKs and CLIs Design and develop automation solutions that improve DevOps operations and efficiency Develop modern architecture and design patterns to include microservices Additional duties as assigned Requirements Required Qualifications: Proficient with Github Actions Proficient in one or more scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Golang, etc) Extensive experience working in Azure, VMware, or other cloud platforms Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of general programming languages, such as Javascript, C#, or comparable Experience with Windows/Linux virtual environments and VM management tools Experience with containerization (Docker, etc.) and container orchestration (Nomad, Kubernetes, etc.) in deployment and operations Demonstrated capability around operating cloud applications and using associated tools (Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Loggly, Sensu) About Design Works Gaming: As a highly recognized 3rd party game development company, Design Works Gaming builds top-performing casino games for the industry's biggest names across three verticals: Land-Based Gaming, Real-Money Gaming Online and our own Social Games.
