In this role, you will work with a diverse caseload across post-acute, skilled nursing, and other care settings, helping patients restore function, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life. As a Physical Therapist with PruittHealth, you will perform thorough evaluations, develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans, and deliver a full range of therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, neuromuscular re-education, manual therapy, and patient/family education. You will regularly reassess progress, modify plans of care as needed, and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team that may include physicians, nurses, occupational and speech therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care. You will be responsible for accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record, adhering to all regulatory, payer, and organizational standards. This includes completing evaluations, daily treatment notes, progress reports, discharge summaries, and participation in care conferences. You will also help ensure compliance with federal, state, and professional regulatory requirements, including adherence to all physical therapy practice standards and ethical guidelines. PruittHealth is a family-owned organization dedicated to providing high quality health care services across the Southeastern U.S., and we are committed to maintaining an inclusive culture built on dignity, respect, and compassion. As part of our team, you will contribute to a supportive and nurturing environment where patient-centered care is the top priority. You will have the opportunity to mentor and support therapy assistants and other team members, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute ideas that enhance patient outcomes and service delivery. This position offers robust opportunities for professional growth and development. You will benefit from comprehensive onboarding and ongoing clinical training, exposure to a broad range of diagnoses and treatment approaches, and access to continuing education support. Our culture emphasizes teamwork and collaboration, empowering you to develop your clinical skills and advance your career while making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families. The ideal candidate is a compassionate, licensed Physical Therapist who is clinically strong, highly organized, and committed to evidence-based practice. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting, managing a varied caseload, and adapting your approach to meet the unique needs, goals, and cultural backgrounds of each patient. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective documentation, team collaboration, and patient and caregiver education. In this role, you can expect a stable, full-time schedule in a primarily on-site clinical environment, with the potential for some flexibility depending on patient needs and care setting. You will be supported by a leadership team that values your expertise, encourages your input, and is committed to helping you grow as a clinician while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
