As a Respiratory Therapist at LifeBridge Health, you will be part of a collaborative, patient-centered team dedicated to delivering high-quality cardiopulmonary care across a diverse patient population. Working within our Healthcare & Medical Services department, you will assess, plan, and provide respiratory care for patients with acute and chronic respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions in hospital and specialty care settings. You will perform comprehensive respiratory assessments; administer and monitor oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and bronchial hygiene therapies; and initiate, manage, and wean patients from invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. Using evidence-based practices, you will interpret arterial blood gases, pulmonary function data, and other diagnostic results to adjust treatment plans and optimize patient outcomes. You will respond to respiratory-related emergencies, including rapid response and Code Blue events, performing airway management, resuscitation support, and other critical interventions as part of a multidisciplinary team. In addition, you will educate patients and families on respiratory disease management, equipment use, and home-care strategies to support long-term well-being. Collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals is central to this role, as you contribute to care planning, clinical rounds, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on patient safety, quality, and satisfaction. You will be expected to maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record and adhere to all regulatory, infection prevention, and organizational standards. LifeBridge Health’s culture of innovation and continuous learning offers you opportunities for professional development, participation in clinical projects, and advancement into specialty areas such as critical care, pediatrics, pulmonary rehabilitation, or leadership roles. This position requires flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including some weekends, nights, and holidays, to ensure 24/7 coverage for our patients. In joining LifeBridge Health, you will contribute to compassionate, community-focused care while advancing your career in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
