**Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:*** Monitor security systems and alerts for potential threats* Analyze security incidents and escalate them as necessary* Support the deployment of security tools and updates* Conduct vulnerability assessments and basic security audits* Assist in incident response and investigations* Maintain documentation of security policies and procedures* Trains users on security protocol* Ensures the information stored on computers or networks is not disclosed to unwanted parties or modified inadvertently**Job Requirements****Experience/Education/Certifications*** 1-2 years of hands-on experience in network security, system administration or security engineering* Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or a related field**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:*** Basic understanding of networking, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, endpoint protection and security principles* Understanding of security frameworks and standards* Familiarity with operating systems and cloud platforms* Effective communication and documentation skills* Awareness of threat vectors, malware behavior and access control models* Ability to stay updated with emerging threats and security trends* Work independently and as a part of a cross functional security/IT team* Maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems and data* Strong analytical skills and attention to detailThis organization participates in e-Verify.
