About the Role The Senior BI Data Analyst I partners with Operations Program Management to support multiple initiatives through advanced data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development. This role requires strong independent analytical skills, a solutions‑oriented mindset, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that support strategic decision‑making.
This position can be remote or hybrid, with occasional onsite meetings as needed in Dayton, OH; Boca Raton, FL; or Alpharetta, GA.
Responsibilities Data Infrastructure & Modeling
Understand complex data structures and underlying relationships across multiple data sources.
Build and maintain SQL data models, views, and relationships to support reporting and analytics.
Identify opportunities to improve data sourcing, transformation, and delivery using internal tools and platforms.
Dashboards & Reporting
Develop user‑friendly, scalable Power BI dashboards with clear storylines and drill‑down capabilities.
Create and manage automated reporting and data delivery routines based on agreed timelines and communication methods.
Build quick, stand‑alone analytical solutions and prototypes, and translate them into scalable BI assets aligned with BI strategy.
Improve raw data usability by partnering with reporting teams and tool owners.
Analysis & Business Partnership
Apply statistical and exploratory data analysis techniques to identify trends, anomalies, gaps, and opportunities.
Conduct root cause analysis on identified anomalies and collaborate with stakeholders to assign ownership and track resolution.
Independently review dashboards and data outputs, challenge inconsistencies, and recommend cost‑effective improvements.
Provide consultative analytics support to business stakeholders throughout the decision‑making process.
Data Visualization & Governance
Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all reported data and technical solutions.
Test and validate dashboards and analytical solutions to ensure expected functionality.
Support data compliance initiatives and documentation efforts.
Create and maintain documentation for data infrastructure, dashboards, reports, and change logs.
Collaborate across Operations and other business teams to understand data needs and share best practices.
Support ad‑hoc analytics, reporting, and special projects as required.
Requirements
3–5 years relevant experience
Experience in data collection, cleansing, and transformation, including complex SQL queries and relational databases.
Hands‑on experience with exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and outliers.
Advanced data visualization skills with Microsoft Power BI (preferred), Tableau, or comparable programs.
Programming experience in Python, R, and Excel (including macros) with familiarity in commonly used data science libraries.
Working knowledge of ETL tools such as KNIME or Alteryx is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to non‑technical and senior audiences.
Demonstrated ability to analyze large, complex datasets and proactively recommend solutions.
Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Excel, and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities.
Results‑oriented mindset with strong collaboration and business‑partner focus.
Ability to navigate and influence within a highly matrixed organization.

Compensation U.S. National Base Pay Range: $78,800 - $131,300. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
Base Pay Range for CO: $78,800 - $131,300.
Base Pay Range for IL: $82,800 - $137,800.
Base Pay Range for Chicago, IL: $86,700 - $144,400.
Base Pay Range for MD: $82,800 - $137,800.
Base Pay Range for NY: $86,700 - $144,400.
Base Pay Range for New York City: $94,700 - $157,500.
Base Pay Range for Rochester, NY: $78,800 - $131,300.
Base Pay Range for OH: $74,900 - $124,700.
Base Pay Range for NJ: $89,012 - $142,188.
This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
