Nursery Assistant

Hourly Rate: £13.47 per hour

Working Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

At Acre Wood Day Nursery , we believe in putting children at the heart of everything we do. We are on the lookout for a passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our dedicated team. Help us deliver our ethos and curriculum while creating a warm and nurturing environment for our children.

• Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
• Ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery.
• Support the smooth running of the nursery and ensure the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.
• Build professional relationships and report any concerns to management.
• Facilitate a strong key person approach to help children form secure attachments.
• Participate in regular team meetings to stay updated on key priorities and policies.

*Note: Duties may evolve, and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

• Essential: Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification.
• Essential: Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Desirable: Over 1 year of experience in Early Years.
• Desirable: Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS.
