Nursery Assistant

Position: Nursery Practitioner

Type: Permanent | Up to 40 hours per week (flexible) | Monday – Friday

Salary: £13.97 per hour / £28,080 per annum

Available Positions: 3 (2 Full-time - 40 hours, 1 Part-time - 30 hours)

• Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years.
• Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play.
• Support children's development and well-being in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Collaborate with parents and colleagues to create a supportive community.
• Maintain a clean and organized nursery space.

Essential Criteria:

• Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification
• Over 1 year of experience in Early Years
• Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements
• Fluent in written and spoken English

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience working with babies under 2 years old
• Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating
