Overview
Role Summary : Manage direct customer account data for Pfizer Pharmaceutical customers in US and Puerto Rico to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements. Business Analysts review all incoming customer account creation and change requests, validate licensing and determine what (if any) additional requirements are needed to comply with regulatory requirements and Pfizer policies. In addition, Business Analysts assign trade classification to customer accounts, which drives customer invoice terms, discounts, taxes, eligibility for contract pricing, and may control access to specified products. Role Summary

Business Analysts review all incoming customer account creation and change requests, validate licensing and determine what (if any) additional requirements are needed to comply with regulatory requirements and Pfizer policies. In addition, Business Analysts assign trade classification to customer accounts, which drives customer invoice terms, discounts, taxes, eligibility for contract pricing, and may control access to specified products. Additional Responsibilities : Business Analysts are responsible for the creation and maintenance of pricing records in SAP in accordance with established controls and processes for US and Puerto Rico pharmaceutical products. This position is critical to the successful operation of the business as Master data is used to drive business operations from Customer Service through Finance.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain customers within their appropriate sales organization and company area to ensure accurate revenue data in downstream financials. Requires extensive knowledge of SAP partner functions.
Perform due diligence research including a comprehensive search of internal and external databases to determine and verify account’s primary business activity to assign the appropriate trade class. Errors could result in non-compliance in areas of government reporting, FDA and loss of revenue.
Establish and maintain various pricing records for sales order management including list prices, contract prices, promotions/deals, returns accruals, and other ad-hoc pricing requests as required by the business.
Respond to information requests from Customer Service Reps, Contracts, Credit Collections and Trade.
Maintain customer product portfolios to ensure compliance with PDMA/FDA guidelines and ensure Pfizer’s distributor website reflects data consistent with any restrictions.
Demonstrate ability to understand key business fields within SAP and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
Basic Qualifications
Applicant must have: a bachelor’s degree with 0+ years of experience; or an associate’s degree with 4 years of experience; or a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 6 years of relevant experience working in customer service and supply chain management.
Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office and internet navigation.
Industry knowledge regarding customer classification and functionality preferred.
Knowledge of basic pricing/contracting strategies and awareness of regulatory issues concerning shipping and storing pharmaceutical products.

Minimal lifting up to 25 lbs

Shift posted is 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM EST

Salary: The annual base salary for this position ranges from $64,600 to $107,600. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of base salary. Benefits include a 401(k) plan with Pfizer Matching Contributions, paid vacation, holidays and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits (medical, prescription drug, dental and vision). Salary ranges are location-based. Pfizer compensation structures and benefit packages are aligned based on location of hire. The United States salary range provided does not apply to Tampa, FL or outside the United States. Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and eligibility. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available for this role now or in the future.
