Construction Sales Engineer - Low/Medium Voltage Switchgear Siemens is seeking a seasoned sales engineer with experience in selling Low/Medium Voltage power distribution products in the Seattle market. This role is remote/hybrid in the greater North California market. Responsibilities
Development and support of distributors and electrical contractor opportunities with a focus on achieving projects through the area Construction Channel. Provide market presence and channel support to achieve share growth. Fully utilize SieSales as the tool to develop and forecast contractor opportunities. Provide product support for Panelboards, Switchboards, Medium Voltage gear, Lighting Panels, Low Voltage Switchgear, Busway, Motor Control Centers, Molded Case Circuit Breakers, IEC/NEMA Control, Safety Switches, and Residential Products. Build and maintain a business plan by cultivating a healthy sales pipeline, following up on leads, and managing the existing customer base. Develop and implement plans for strategic accounts that exceed expectations in revenue retention/growth, account profitability, and customer satisfaction/loyalty. Build long-term relationships with senior management at key customer accounts, solution partners, and channel partners. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (or combination of education and directly related work experience). 10+ years of sales experience in the Power Generation or Electrical Industry. Ability to travel 5% of the time domestically. Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Preferred Qualifications
BS in Electrical Engineering preferred. 10+ years experience in selling to local electrical contractors. 10+ years of sales experience with LV/MV power distribution product line. Compensation and Benefits
Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits. The listed pay range for this position is $107,590 - $221,280 and is eligible for Sales Incentive. Actual compensation may vary based on budget, candidate experience, knowledge, skills, and geographic location. DEI and Compliance
