Accounting Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Audit & Accounts Manager to join a dynamic team. You will take ownership of a varied portfolio, lead engagements from planning through to completion, and play a key role in developing junior staff while supporting the wider growth of the business.

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
  
• Strong experience within an audit and accounts environment
  
• Proven ability to manage engagements and lead teams effectively
  
• Strong technical knowledge including FRS 102, IFRS and auditing standards
  
• Experience in accounts preparation within a practice setting
  
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

• Manage a portfolio of audit and accounts clients across a range of sectors
  
• Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion
  
• Review financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant standards
  
• Act as a key point of contact, building strong client relationships
  
• Support and mentor junior team members
  

• 
  
• Review corporation tax returns and ensure timely submissions
  
• Plan and allocate work across the team, monitoring xcfaprz progress and budgets
  
• Conduct client meetings throughout the audit lifecycle
  
• Identify opportunities to enhance client service delivery
  
• Support business development and growth initiatives
  

• 
  
• Assist with advisory and consultancy assignments
  
• Deliver training and support wider team development
  
• Contribute to internal process improvements and firm initiatives

• Compromise on professional standards, ethics, or regulatory requirements.
