GIS Mapping Specialist

eFrontiers are partnering with a leading semi-state organisation to recruit an experienced AutoCAD / GIS Mapping Specialist to join their Planning & Mapping team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-impact infrastructure and property projects, supporting a large-scale asset portfolio across Ireland.

You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality mapping and spatial data services, supporting property management, planning, and project delivery.

Working as part of a specialist team, you will:

• Produce detailed mapping using ArcGIS, AutoCAD Map, and related tools
• Create legal and property-related maps for internal and external stakeholders
• Analyse property title documents and define boundaries
• Support planning applications, Environmental Impact Statements, and project mapping
• Maintain and manage geospatial databases and property records
• Liaise with external bodies such as the Property Registration Authority
• Assist in resolving property boundary queries and disputes

• Strong experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, MapInfo or similar GIS tools
• Ability to produce accurate, professional-standard drawings and mapping
• Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
• Experience supporting property transactions or land-related projects
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Background in Surveying, Geomatics, Engineering or similar
• ~5+ years relevant experience xcfaprz (preferred)

• Relevant third-level qualification (desirable)
• Based in Dublin 2 (Head Office)
• Hybrid working: 2 days onsite, remainder remote
• Start: Immediate
• Duration: 12 months
• Hours: Monday–Friday, standard business hours
