Group Tax Manager

Reporting to the Group Head of Tax, you will oversee a diverse portfolio including CT, VAT, TP, and R&D. Your core focus will include:

• Strategic Oversight: Advise management on the tax implications of domestic and international legislative shifts.
• Compliance Management: Lead the end-to-end tax compliance process, ensuring precision in returns and supporting calculations.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare current and deferred tax provisions and disclosures for the group’s financial statements.
• Advisory & Projects: Provide technical guidance on cross-border indirect tax, withholding tax, and payroll matters.
• M&A Support: Play a vital role in the tax due diligence and execution of acquisitions and disposals.
• Transfer Pricing: Collaborate with global colleagues and external advisors to maintain robust TP documentation.
• R&D & Audits: Manage the completion of R&D credit claims and act as the primary lead for tax audits.

We are looking for a sharp, analytical professional who can translate complex tax legislation into actionable business advice.

• Professional Qualifications: You are a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) and a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA).
• Experience: You possess a minimum of 3 years’ PQE within a Big 4 firm or a large corporate tax environment.
