Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking an Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) Cardiologist to join our growing and highly collaborative congenital heart disease program. As one of the nation’s most respected programs for diagnosis and treatment of heart disease and the only program of its kind in Indiana, we offer the opportunity to play a key role in the advancement of a comprehensive ACHD program. Position Highlights: Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care for adults with congenital heart disease Clinical and basic research opportunities for collaboration with the Krannert Cardiovascular Research Center Collaborate closely with pediatric and adult cardiology colleagues to ensure seamless continuity of care across the lifespan Work within a multidisciplinary team including cardiac surgery, electrophysiology, maternal-fetal medicine, advanced heart failure, and other subspecialties Participate in ACHD imaging, interventional procedures, or other subspecialty areas based on training and clinical interest Engage in the teaching and mentorship of fellows, residents, and medical students Contribute to program development, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical research to support the continued growth of the ACHD program Why IU Health: Expanding, high-impact congenital heart disease program with strong institutional support Collaborative academic environment with opportunities for teaching and research Ability to influence and shape a growing ACHD service line Mission-driven culture focused on improving lifelong outcomes for patients with congenital heart disease The IU Health and IU School of Medicine Cardiovascular Institute aligns clinical, research and education missions across a statewide health system and medical school, the largest in the country Qualifications: MD or DO degree BC/BE in Cardiology Completion of an ACGME-accredited ACHD fellowship required Benefits: We offer a strong compensation model andcomprehensive benefits package including group insurance (health, dental, life, disability), 401k with company match, PTO, relocation assistance and occurrence-based malpractice insurance coverage Clinician-Educator Faculty appointment with the Indiana University School of Medicine, clinical rank will be commensurate with experience Indianapolis, Indiana
