Cogent is hiring an Order Coordinator to work at our Edelmann & Associates branch in Plymouth, MN. The ideal candidate will have an associate’s degree (minimum) along with previous experience in a customer service/order coordination position. Typical duties of an Order Coordinator include:

• Reviews orders for accuracy and completion. Clarifies invalid and unclear order requirements with sales staff
• Enters all sales orders from Application Engineers into our ERP system
• Places orders with vendors to purchase customer orders
• Computes prices, shipping costs, and any appropriate discounts
• Handles inbound calls from customers, vendors and sales personnel
• Provides sales quotes for parts to customers from vendor-provided resources
• Determines the appropriate timing of orders to ensure timely delivery and cost savings
• Verifies and updates customer information
• Checks the customer
