About the role Reworld, a national leader in sustainable environmental solutions, is looking for a dynamic
Solutions Sales Manager
to further our growth. We provide Thermomechanical Treatment Facility Services, Wastewater Treatment, Industrial Services, and Sustainable Solutions to Fortune 1000 customers and beyond. If you have strong prospecting and relationship skills and a demonstrated track record of growing a business, we want to meet you.
This position covers Maryland and Washington, D.C. and will require travel.
Responsibilities
Grow new business – attract large and high‑profile prospects and provide solutions for industrial prospects.
Primarily a hunter role for multiple Reworld Waste and Reworld Environmental facilities located in key growth markets.
Identify business opportunities by qualifying prospects, researching and analyzing sales options.
Manage all steps of the RFP.
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the company’s service lines, pricing structures, and offer additional services as appropriate to assigned customers.
Utilize the REWORLD‑directed CRM database on a daily basis; schedule and document all activities such as calls, meetings and proposals.
Regularly meet with Sales Director to review weekly customer retention, relationship activities, progress versus goals, and status of key customer relationships.
Forecast and budget – actively input, communicate and oversee the monthly forecast and annual budget for assigned facilities, direct accounts and third‑party environmental service companies.
Follow established protocols regarding contracts, credit, pricing, procedures and documentation.
Perform other duties as required.
Position Requirements
5+ years’ experience in sales and account management in the industrial waste management, waste‑to‑energy, hazardous or non‑hazardous waste industry with a proven track record.
Role is based in Maryland and Washington, D.C.; familiarity with the local markets is highly valued. Regular travel to Northern Virginia facilities is required.
Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or equivalent experience.
Ability to clearly communicate the needs of Reworld’s waste and facility operations to clients.
Ability to contribute both as a sole contributor and as a team member.
Ability to communicate the Reworld value proposition across all levels of the client organization.
Desire to work in a fast‑paced, highly regulated and technical industry.
Travel – mostly within the region, up to 45 %.
Physical Demand of the Role
Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb.
Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs and work consistently in various weather conditions.
Shift Monday‑Friday day shift.

Pay Transparency Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably and provides competitive compensation and benefits. The base pay range for this role, based on the primary location, is $79,300 – $105,600 USD. The final salary offered will depend on experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts.
