What You'll do: The role involves supporting software applications developed and maintained by the Department of Transportation, using Agile best practices and a strong focus on customer service throughout this transition and system support.

What You'll Be Supporting
Review SQL Server databases for vulnerabilities and issues
Resolve vulnerabilities and issues in a timely manner
Maintain and update DBA Guides
Apply server patches and troubleshoot issues, often in collaboration with another administrator
Plan for and support Disaster Recovery
Assist other DBAs with tasks and issues as required
How You'll Excel In Your Role
Knowledge of DOT IT systems
Excellent analytical skills to assess existing software implementations
Experience working in an Agile environment
Drive to continuously improve existing software implementations
Required Experience
Bachelor's Degree in information technology or a related discipline
Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, RDS, and DynamoDB
Proficiency with AWS and tasks related to AWS migrations
Preferred Experience
Server maintenance
DOT experience
Databricks experience
Microstrategy experience
Public Trust clearance
Salary The current salary range is $70,000 to $150,000, subject to adjustment based on experience, skills, and other factors.
