*Web Designer (WordPress & Digital Design Focus)*
*Overview*
We’re looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented *Web Designer* with a strong focus on *WordPress development and graphic design* to join our collaborative team. This role is ideal for someone who can not only design beautiful, user-friendly websites—but also execute them within WordPress while supporting broader creative needs like digital graphics, branding assets, and campaign visuals.
You’ll play a key role in shaping how our clients show up online—combining strong visual design.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Design and build visually compelling, responsive websites with a strong emphasis on *WordPress (themes, page builders, and customization)*
* Create and manage *custom page layouts, templates, and reusable design systems* within WordPress
* Translate brand strategy into engaging web experiences that balance *aesthetics, usability, and performance*
* Develop wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs for client approval
* Produce *supporting graphic assets* including website visuals, landing page graphics, display ads, social media creatives, and email headers
* Ensure all websites are optimized for *mobile responsiveness, speed, and SEO best practices*
* Work with plugins, integrations, and light backend functionality (forms, tracking, CRM integrations, etc.)
* Collaborate with internal teams (strategy, content, media) to align design with campaign goals
* Maintain and update client websites, ensuring consistency, performance, and security
* Apply accessibility and UX best practices to improve overall user experience
*Qualifications & Experience*
* *Strong WordPress experience required* (custom themes, Elementor/Divi or similar builders, plugin management)
* Knowledge of *HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript* (PHP a plus for WordPress customization)
* Strong graphic design skills with experience in *Adobe Creative Suite* (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or *Figma*
* Ability to design both *websites and supporting marketing graphics* (social, display, email, etc.)
* Experience creating responsive designs across desktop, tablet, and mobile
* Understanding of *SEO fundamentals* and website performance optimization
* Familiarity with *Google Analytics* or similar tools for performance insights
* Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects
