The Unit is a software development company focused on Sports betting, Gambling & iGaming industries, with headquarters in Ireland. Our team is delighted to have been collaborating with customers from across the globe since 2017.


As a Manual QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by manually testing betting apps. You will work closely with development and product teams to design, implement, and maintain test solutions.


Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute test plans and cases based on project requirements.
  • Identify and document defects, collaborating with developers for resolution.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure code changes don't introduce new issues.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining automated test scripts.
  • Set up and configure test environments as needed.
  • Monitor and report on test progress and quality metrics.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes.

Requirements:



  • 4+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or a related role, with prior experience in betting/iGaming industries.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices, functional/non-functional testing.
  • Proficiency in creating and executing test cases and test scripts, good knowledge of all related configurations (test plans, cases, scenarios, bugs).
  • Previous experience in working with REST API.
  • Experience working in Agile Teams.
  • Experience in using project management tools such as JIRA.
  • Knowledge and understanding of STLC & SDLC.
  • Strong knowledge of source control tools, like GIT.
  • Web and mobile testing experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, including fluent English level (B2 and upper level), with a strong ability to write documentation, description, etc.

Preferred:



  • ISTQB certification is advantageous to have.
  • Experience in high-load or complex systems.
