Tax Manager

A progressive, well established, medium sized firm of accountants and tax advisors currently have an excellent opportunity for a tax manager to join the firm. This role will report into the Tax Partner and will have a couple of direct reports. The role will involve providing a mix of tax advisory and compliance services to a varied client base across all tax heads.

• Responsibility for a portfolio of SME clients, working on compliance and consultancy projects.
  
• Building relationships with existing clients, whilst also developing a personal external network.
  
• Assisting in the management of the tax group, including WIP, billings and fee collections.
  
• Working with Partners, Directors and Managers on tax consultancy engagements.
  
• Liaising with other departments to identify tax planning opportunities for existing clients.
  

• 
  
• Qualified Tax Professional and/or qualified accountant.
  
• Good working knowledge of all tax heads.
  
• Prior managerial experience (either assistant manager or manager level).
  
• Ability to manage and develop junior staff members. xcfaprz
