We are partnered with an established construction services company to identify an
Operations / Sales Manager
to launch and scale their San Marcos operations. This role offers the autonomy of running a local operation while being supported by proven backend infrastructure, financial backing, and experienced leadership.
This position is suited to someone who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and building something from the ground up.
Role Overview The Operations / Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and managing local operations in the San Marcos area. This includes overseeing project execution, managing client relationships, building subcontractor networks, and driving local business development.
Early on, the role is hands‑on and multifaceted, with a clear path toward long-term leadership growth as the operation scales.
Key Responsibilities
Lead local operational execution and business growth
Build, manage, and maintain subcontractor and vendor networks
Oversee day‑to‑day project activities and site coordination
Develop new business opportunities and manage client relationships
Recruit, train, and develop a local team aligned with company goals
Collaborate with senior leadership to execute expansion strategies
Serve as the primary point of contact for local operations
Ideal Candidate Profile
Background in construction, project management, trades, or related fields
Strong entrepreneurial and ownership mindset
Proven relationship builder within the local construction market
Experience managing subcontractors and multiple active projects
Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, growth‑focused environment
Self‑starter who thrives with autonomy and responsibility
Experience with apartment turns or high-volume make‑ready processes preferred
Bilingual Spanish and English is a plus, but not required
