Staff RN

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff RN to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team within our hospital-based care environment. As a key member of an interdisciplinary care team, the Staff RN delivers safe, evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care to diverse patient populations across the care continuum. This role is responsible for performing comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient responses, and coordinating with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and ancillary staff to ensure high-quality outcomes. The Staff RN provides education and emotional support to patients and families, promoting understanding of diagnoses, therapies, discharge plans, and self-care strategies. The nurse will use critical thinking and clinical judgment to prioritize care in a fast-paced setting, respond to changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns appropriately. Documentation will be completed accurately and timely within the electronic health record, in accordance with regulatory, organizational, and professional standards. The Staff RN actively participates in quality and safety initiatives, infection prevention efforts, and performance improvement projects that reflect Piedmont Healthcare’s culture of respect, innovation, and teamwork.
