Beamer's Piggyback is a small family owned repair and fabrication facility. We service trucks, trailers, forklifts, RV's and heavy duty equipment.
We are in need of an Experienced Diesel Mechanic. Our ideal candidate has experience as a diesel mechanic, truck mechanic, diesel tech. He/she can perform all minor maintenance and inspections, work on all chassis components, external engine and drivetrain components, troubleshoot and replace DPF filters and components and perform internal engine work and engine rebuilds unassisted.

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Perform PM Services, Annual Inspections & Routine Maintenance; Adjust equipment to standards set by state DOT for motor vehicle inspections, and safety standards
* Perform diagnostics & determine a course of action for repair
* Disassemble, inspect, and replace worn or broken parts
* Can troubleshoot and repair all chassis components, all external engine components and drivetrain components, unassisted
* Can troubleshoot and repair all internal engine issues and complete an engine rebuild, all unassisted
* Positive & courteous communication with fellow employees, management and customers is expected
* Use hoists, wrenches, gauges, drills, grinders, or other specialized mechanic tools and equipment
* Complete assigned repairs/tasks in a timely manner
* Maintain parts usage records and request repair parts via communications system
* Maintain clean personal and work area standards for safety
* Operate lift trucks & equipment as required
* Test drive repaired equipment
*Education, Experience, Qualifications:*
* Minimum of 3 years of diesel mechanic experience
* Experience in both gas & diesel modern emissions
* Experience with diagnostics machine required
* Proficiency in regen and in diagnosing, removing, and installing DPF systems & components required
* Air Conditioning experience preferred
* Ability to lift approximately 75 lbs.
* Must have own tools
* Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
* Basic computer skills necessary
*Pre-employment background check, random drug and alcohol screen required.*
