We are looking for a Databricks expert to help design and deliver modern data platforms that drive real business impact. This role will work with cutting‑edge technologies, influence strategic decisions and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry.

• 
  
• Design scalable, secure, and high‑performing data architectures using Databricks and cloud‑native tools
  
• Lead the development of data models, pipelines, and integration frameworks that support analytics and AI
  
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
  
• Set data governance and quality standards to ensure trusted and compliant data
  
• Guide and mentor engineering teams through architecture decisions and best practices
  
• Drive innovation by exploring new tools, patterns, and approaches to data architecture
  

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• 
  
• A third level qualification in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline, or relevant experience
  
• Proven experience working in a client‑facing consulting environment, managing stakeholder expectations and delivering tailored solutions across diverse industries
  
• 7 years’ experience with Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog
  
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud
  
• Experience designing data lakes, lakehouses, and modern data platforms
  
• Proven experience managing and mentoring high‑performing data engineering teams
  
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences
  
• A strategic mindset with a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving
  

Ideally, you will also have:

• 
  
• Familiarity with data security, privacy, and compliance frameworks
  
• Knowledge of data mesh, data fabric, or other emerging architecture patterns
  
• Professional certification in Databricks
