WHC Lab Group is a biotechnology company specializing in fermentation, with deep expertise in yeast, bacteria, enzymes and innovative fermentation products and services.

We are looking for a Quality & Document Control Manager to join and help lead our Quality Management System (QMS) and oversee document control across the business sites. This is a key onsite role at our plant in Co Wicklow Ireland, ensuring our products, processes, and systems meet the highest regulatory and customer standards across the company.

• Work alongside our Plant director to lead and continuously improve the QMS in line with HACCP, GMP, BRCGS, FDA, and EU regulations
• Own and manage document control systems (SOPs, specifications, records, version control)
• Prepare for and lead external audits (DAFM, HSE, FDA, BRCGS, ISO, Bord Bia audits)
• Conduct internal audits and drive CAPA implementation
• Act as the main contact for customer
• Oversee product specifications and technical documentation
• Partner cross-functionally with Lab, Production, CDMO, New Product Development, and Leadership teams
• Drive a culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement

• Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or similar
• 3 to 5+ years’ experience in a quality role (food, biotech, fermentation, or related)
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, BRCGS, FDA, and EU regulations
• Proven experience managing QMS and audits
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a growing, fast-paced environment
• Access to your own vehicle will be required to travel to new sites

• Experience with microbial, enzyme, or fermentation-based products
• Familiarity with ERP or digital QMS systems
• Knowledge xcfaprz of feed, nutraceutical, or certification standards (e.g. Halal, Kosher)
