About the Role We are seeking a Backend Developer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will have the flexibility to choose which agile team to support, depending on the project requirements. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and enhance our cloud-based backend systems, utilizing the best solutions available in the market. The role involves working with technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Azure Functions, Message Queues, CosmosDB, and other modern tools. You will be instrumental in building our KINDcloud platform in Azure, adopting a microservices architecture that serves as the foundation for future applications. Working within an agile environment following Scrum and Kanban methodologies, you will participate in daily stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint reviews, and other agile artifacts to ensure continuous improvement and project success.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend services utilizing modern technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and Azure Functions.
Design, implement, and optimize microservices architecture within Azure cloud environment.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Participate actively in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
Ensure high quality and performance of backend systems through rigorous testing and code reviews.
Support and improve existing backend components, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to integrate innovative solutions into projects.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of agile software development practices and possess a background in (business) informatics or a comparable education. You should demonstrate strong analytical skills and methodological competence, applying these effectively across diverse projects. A passion for innovation, current technology trends, and lifelong learning is essential. Excellent communication skills in German, with proficiency at least at the C1 level, are required to collaborate effectively within our team. You should also be motivated to contribute to team success and eager to grow professionally in a fast-paced environment.
