We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative QA Engineer to design and develop automation solutions aligned with product requirements. This role partners cross-functionally with product, engineering, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software through scalable automation strategies. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in both software development and test automation, with the ability to think strategically, execute efficiently, and collaborate effectively in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
Design and develop AI-driven automation solutions aligned with product requirements
Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, test cases, and automation scripts for new and existing features
Balance multiple initiatives, including new feature development, documentation, and timely delivery
Communicate progress and status through sprint reviews, reports, presentations, and demos
Participate in Scrum ceremonies and cross-functional meetings to support collaboration
Ensure quality and reliability through continuous testing, monitoring, and optimization
Required Qualifications
5–7 years of professional software development or QA automation experience
Proficiency in PHP for backend development (Laravel or Symfony preferred)
Strong experience with React.js, including hooks, component lifecycle, and state management
Working knowledge of Python for scripting, automation, or backend services
Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and query optimization
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Python frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI
Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
Additional Requirements
This opportunity is located in Cupertino, CA or Culver City, CA and requires hybrid work
The pay for this W-2 position is $80.00 per hour
This position may be eligible for benefits such as PTO, health insurance, and 401(k), depending on tenure and hours worked
