The QA Auditor will conduct audits of operational processes to ensure compliance with internal policies, quality standards, and industry regulations. This role requires a meticulous and analytical professional who can document findings, report on quality metrics, and collaborate with various teams to implement and monitor corrective actions. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in all business operations. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct internal audits: Perform regular and ad-hoc audits of operational processes, including manufacturing, material handling, receiving, and packaging, to assess compliance with quality management systems and company procedures. Identify non-conformities: Meticulously examine work activities and documentation to identify deviations, defects, or non-compliance issues. Document and report findings: Create detailed audit reports that clearly outline findings, observations, and recommendations for corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Track corrective actions: Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions to ensure issues are resolved and do not recur. Analyze data and trends: Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends, report on key performance indicators (KPIs), and highlight opportunities for process improvement to management. Collaborate with teams: Work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and management to communicate audit results and facilitate quality improvement initiatives. Maintain quality records: Ensure all quality assurance records, including audit checklists, reports, and corrective action plans, are accurately maintained and stored. Verify external compliance: Coordinate with and facilitate external auditors, ensuring readiness for inspections by regulatory bodies and customers. Provide training: Assist in developing and delivering training materials on quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure that all relevant staff understand and adhere to standards. Support safety protocols: Collaborate with managers on operational risk management, including supporting safety-related standards and reporting. Qualifications
Education: A high school diploma or GED is typically required, though a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Assurance, Engineering, Business) is often preferred. Experience: Previous experience (3+ years) in a quality assurance or auditing role, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment. Certifications: Professional certifications such as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Quality Technician (CQT), or Six Sigma are highly desirable. Knowledge: Thorough understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and relevant industry regulations. Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, report writing, and using quality management software and other computer applications. Required Skills

Organizational skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to manage a demanding audit schedule.
