Locum Opportunity Gastroenterology Des Moines, IA

Seeking a Locum Gastroenterologist to provide inpatient coverage.

• June June

• Additional ongoing dates available

• 24-hour call coverage (7:00 AM 7:00 AM)

• On-site for 8 hours daily

• Call required

• Inpatient coverage only (no outreach, no telehealth)

• Average daily census: patients (APP support for rounding)

• 1 physician and 2 APPs in practice

• No supervision of APPs required

• EMR: Epic

• Services include: Colonoscopy, EUS, ERCP

• On-site medical imaging, lab, and pharmacy available

• Flight (capped)

• Lodging (capped; preferred hotel available)

• Rental car (capped; preferred vendors available)

• Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of fellowship) in Gastroenterology

• Fellowship trained in Gastroenterology

• Active Iowa license or IMLC (LOQ required at name clear)

• Must be experienced

• Must be proficient in EUS and ERCP

• Must be available for June coverage (required at name clear)

• Clean malpractice and background history

• NPDB Self-Query (dated within the last days at presentation)
