Post Summary: Trinity Business School (TBS) is an internationally ranked business school with Triple Accreditation (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS) and an Athena SWAN Bronze Award. The School is located on the Trinity campus and focuses on sustainability, transformation through innovation, and social inclusion.
Position
The School invites applications for a strategic appointment at Associate Professor level in Strategy. This appointment strengthens the School’s international research profile and advances scholarship in strategic management.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to teaching across the School’s programmes, particularly core courses in Strategy and International Business.
- Collaborate with colleagues in programme development, curriculum innovation, and programme management to enhance the School’s educational offering.
- Deliver cutting-edge education in both traditional and digitally enabled formats as the School expands its online and blended learning provision.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Strategy and International Management programmes, ensuring alignment with evolving industry standards and societal expectations and with the School’s commitment to Business for Good.
Qualifications and Profile
- Internationally visible scholar with an ambitious research programme in strategic management.
- Portfolio of high-impact publications in journals ranked by the Chartered Association of Business Schools. Publications in FT50 journals are advantageous.
- Ability to engage with and make a meaningful impact beyond academia.
Salary, Hours, and Conditions
- Post status: Permanent Contract.
- Hours of work are governed by the applicable Public Service Agreements. Further information is available at: : Associate Professor Salary Scale (€92,984 - €120,072 per annum) in line with current Government pay policy.
