Client Funds Accountant (ARCS/FPT) – 12‑Month FTC

Client Funds & Reconciliations team is responsible for efficient control and management of approximately $400m of customer cash. The role performs month‑end balance sheet accounting across multiple brands and currencies, ensuring accurate financial data. It also supports a transformation project to unify all Client Funds processes into one model using EPM Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (“ARCS”).
Key Responsibilities
Lead transformation project workstreams and support the Client Funds Manager on delivery.
Collaborate with internal data teams and third‑party providers to design and deliver key reconciliations reporting.
Use ARCS to gather business requirements for onboarding reconciliations.
Run testing and support migration of reconciliations from legacy processes to ARCS TM.
Validate revenue file builds against third‑party statements, resolving discrepancies.
Design and document transaction mapping specifications for system integration.
Maintain accurate project planning records for senior leadership.
Support end‑to‑end cash reconciliation from customer deposit to balance sheet sign‑off.
Maintain strong internal controls, ensuring compliance with policies, GAAP and regulatory requirements.
Review and sign off monthly reconciliations and key controls.
Ensure process documentation is current and accurate.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders both within and outside Client Funds.
Communicate effectively with the Client Funds Manager, reporting material financial exceptions and liabilities as needed.
Manage relationships across geographic locations (Dublin, London, Isle of Man, Leeds).
Identify and highlight potential risks within the financial control framework.
Skills and Experience
Qualified accountant with 3+ years post‑qualified experience and a solid educational background.
Experience in finance projects or change/transformation initiatives.
Strong understanding of SOx and GAAP principles.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Oracle).
Expertise in high‑volume reconciliations and revenue‑to‑cash processes.
Enthusiastic, proactive, and willing to learn.
Working knowledge of EPM ARCS (advantageous).
Ability to analyse large volumes of data and present results clearly.
Professional demeanor with excellent time‑management, organisational and multi‑tasking skills.
High level of attention to detail and integrity due to sensitive customer information.
Proactive and innovative; capable of identifying process improvements.
Articulate communicator across teams and wider business.
