JOB PURPOSE
We are hiring a Snr Design & Project Manager to lead a Design and Project implementation team responsible for implementing solutions in the Water Treatment and Environmental Sector. These projects span across Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation disciplines. Our current technologies include but are not limited to Filtration, Ion Exchange, De-Ionisation, pH Correction, Iron and Manganese removal, Disinfection, Various Instrumentation solutions for Environmental monitoring and others.
This is a highly collaborative, hands‑on role involving managing and engaging with multidisciplinary teams to deliver the best solution for our client and customer base. If you have previous experience working in technical design projects, leading a team and providing technical leadership throughout a project lifecycle from concept design to handover, this is the role for you. We are looking for a strong leader who can competently deliver multiple projects, interface with the Customer and drive change.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the design process team who have responsibility for various mechanical and electrical Projects.
- Oversee all aspects associated with the design team from client site visits, design and building of applications, AutoCAD, P&ID, drawing layout through to pricing and quotations.
- Oversee Project Management e.g. planning, scheduling, resourcing, procurement, EHS and commissioning management.
- Oversee project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure sufficient scheduling and resource allocation (internal, contract or sub‑contractors).
- Manage project design schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on‑time project delivery.
- Support tendering and bid processes by assisting with the quotations and cost analyses of relevant technologies.
- Responsible for Site Supervision of ongoing projects that the team are leading.
- Liaise with and support other divisions as required such as Chemical Treatment and Passivation Departments.
- Responsible for handover of a defined project to the Service team at the project completion stage.
- Conduct design and build risk assessments, ensuring all health, safety, and environmental considerations are met.
- Assist in site surveys / audits / trials etc as necessary.
- Liaise with service division to implement the best solutions for our customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Process engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years experience working in Industry (similar environment a distinct advantage).
- Previous experience leading a team, coaching, mentoring in a positive manner.
- Previous experience working in Water Treatment or Environmental applications, distinct advantage.
- Proven experience delivering projects.
- Strong knowledge of design software and tools such as AutoCAD, or equivalent.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and Customer management skills.
- EHS knowledge and experience.
- Full clean driving licence essential.
- Valid visa/citizenship to work in Ireland.
