Sr Manufacturing Engineer (Exempt)
Position Details
Number of Positions: 1
Contract: 24 months
Responsibilities
Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling.
Determine the arrangement of machines within plant facilities to achieve the most efficient and productive layout.
Develop the sequence of operations, specifying procedures for tool and equipment fabrication that affect product performance.
Adapt machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans.
Inspect performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency and initiate corrective actions for problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
Develop manufacturing processes suitable for statistical process control and potentially develop associated techniques.
Provide guidance to engineering on design concepts and specification requirements that best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
Ensure processes and procedures comply with all applicable regulations.
Role Overview
This role is a seasoned individual contributor within the Specialist career stream, responsible for delivering and managing projects from design through implementation while adhering to policies and leveraging specialized knowledge acquired through advanced education.

Qualifications
University degree in engineering or a related field (minimum 4 years of relevant experience) or an advanced degree (minimum 2 years of relevant experience).
Advanced knowledge of the job area, combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education and practical experience.
