UF Health is seeking a skilled and patient-centered Radiologic Technologist (RT) to join our Healthcare & Medical Services department within our leading academic health center in Gainesville, Florida. In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations to support accurate diagnosis and treatment for a diverse patient population in a fast-paced hospital and clinic environment. Working closely with radiologists, nurses, and other members of the care team, you will be responsible for safely and effectively operating imaging equipment, positioning patients, and ensuring optimal image quality while maintaining the highest standards of radiation safety and infection control. You will explain procedures clearly, provide compassionate care, and advocate for patient comfort and privacy throughout each exam. As part of UF Health’s collaborative and inclusive culture, you will contribute to a team that values innovation, diversity, and patient-centered care, while participating in ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives. You will accurately document procedures in the electronic medical record, adhere to departmental protocols and regulatory requirements, assist with contrast preparation and administration as appropriate, and help maintain equipment, supplies, and a safe work environment.
