Physician - Radiology

Job Details:

Provide radiology services in a hospital setting

Interpret imaging studies across multiple modalities including X-ray, CT, MR, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and fluoroscopy

Handle diverse subspecialty case mix including emergency radiology, nuclear medicine, fluoroscopy, musculoskeletal, neuro, pediatrics, and mammography diagnostic procedures

Perform light interventional radiology procedures including various biopsies (thyroid, lung, bone, liver, renal) using CT and ultrasound guidance

Conduct drainage procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drainages, chest tube placement, and cyst drainage

Perform lumbar punctures including diagnostic lumbar puncture, myelogram, and epidural procedures

Execute arthrogram and joint injection procedures for knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, and ankle

Expected daily volume of 90-100 work RVUs with target of 60-70 work RVUs per 8-hour shift

Must be able to cover stroke/perfusion studies

Required to read all CT studies excluding CT cardiac

Provide coverage for multiple locations including combined reading responsibilities

Board certification required along with active state medical license and DEA registration
