Medical Communications Group Media Strategy
team. This position is located in our
New York
office, with three days on-site (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and a team flex day) and two days remote.
Job Overview In this role, you will work closely with the Sales team to complete media plans and proposals. Your goal is to position Haymarket’s unique value proposition, product offerings and audience to best fit our Pharmaceutical advertiser’s objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within the dynamic digital media landscape and offers exposure to various operational and sales teams. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
Perform RFP Intake including entry of information into Salesforce, setting up Google Sheets and Slides for team collaboration
Carefully evaluate all client‑supplied RFP materials to accurately interpret campaign objectives
Maintain in‑depth knowledge of all advertising products, inventory, and pricing
Complete client‑supplied templates with product information
Track RFP progression within team project management tool & provide accurate ETAs for project milestones
Collaborate with internal teams to curate custom audience groups that will be utilized for digital marketing
Develop a strong understanding of digital media workflows for the Media Strategy team as well as adjacent departments
Complete special projects with the guidance of a Media Strategist or Manager. Projects may include: analyzing business trends, maintaining team reference materials, identifying efficiencies in SOPs
Skills and Requirements
1–2 years of relevant professional experience in media planning, media strategy, digital marketing, advertising, or a related field preferred; internship experience and transferable early‑career experience will also be considered
Bachelor's degree in a related field of study
Proficiency in Google Sheets & Google Slides
Strong critical thinking skills & ability to draw conclusions from data points
Attention to detail and organization
Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment

The salary range for this position is 65,000-70,000. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, skill level, functional and/or industry knowledge, education level, certifications, as well as other qualifications.
