About Us We are a leading environmental drilling and remediation contracting company providing innovative and safe solutions to support environmental consultants, engineers, and private and public sector clients across the Eastern U.S. Our services include all aspects of environmental and geotechnical drilling, geophysics, and remediation/construction implementation.
Position Overview The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in supporting the company’s business development efforts by managing Salesforce activity, coordinating/completing proposal follow-up, and maintaining strong customer relationships within all 5 offices. Working closely with the Vice President of Sales & Business Development, this position ensures that all leads, proposals, and client communications are tracked, followed up, and documented to help drive growth and improve customer satisfaction.
Inside Sales Representative Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Management:
Maintain and update opportunities, contacts, and activities within Salesforce.
Generate reports and dashboards to track proposal status, client engagement, and sales performance.
Assist in streamlining sales processes and ensuring data accuracy across all accounts.
Proposal & Bid Follow-Up:
Track all outgoing proposals and follow up with clients regarding project status and feedback via tracked phone calls/emails.
Collaborate with estimating, operations, and project management teams to ensure timely responses to RFPs and client requests.
Support proposal generation and assist with document preparation and submittals when needed.
Customer Interaction & Sales Support:
Serve as a primary point of contact for inbound sales inquiries and client communication.
Assist VP of Sales to coordinate meetings, lunch-and-learns, and follow-up calls with clients.
Identify potential cross-selling opportunities and help qualify leads for Project Managers and VP of Sales.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with the VP of Sales to align inside sales efforts with broader company goals.
Collaborate with marketing to ensure campaigns and client communications are coordinated and effective.
Provide consistent feedback on client trends, competitive insights, and business opportunities.
Inside Sales Representative Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental, Marketing, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
1+ years of experience in sales support, inside sales, or business development (environmental or construction industry experience a plus).
Proficiency in Salesforce CRM required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and follow-up abilities with attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
