Pay Details
Starting base salary is $45,000 with opportunity for growth.
Average earnings range from $55,000 to $75,000 through a combination of base salary and generous commission.
Top performing agents in their second year and onward can earn up to $85,000+.
Position Overview As an Inside Sales Agent you will handle inbound calls and warm leads, consulting with customers on their insurance needs and matching the correct coverages, products, and benefits to convert sales leads into policyholders.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to inbound calls and warm leads.
Consult with customers on their insurance needs and match the correct coverage.
Close sales and convert leads into policyholders.
Maintain a professional workspace with required internet connectivity and equipment.
Work a schedule of 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day with a mid‑morning start time (example 11 am‑8 pm CST) for a minimum of 12 months before shift change consideration.
Participate in paid training and licensing, including 16 weeks for licensed hires and 18 weeks for unlicensed hires.
Receive and maintain a Property & Casualty Insurance license after hire.
Adhere to oral and written communication standards, integrity, and customer‑centricity.
Qualifications
2–3 years of sales experience preferred; 2 years of sales/service‑related work experience required.
Strong, engaging interpersonal and persuasion skills needed to close sales.
Ability to communicate well to both prospects and customers.
Excellent analytical, decision‑making, and organizational skills.
Strong typing capabilities and PC proficiency.
Property and Casualty License required after hire.
