CT Technologist

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in delivering high-quality imaging care to patients across our non-profit health system. As a CT Technologist, you will perform a wide range of routine and advanced CT examinations, producing high-quality diagnostic images that support accurate clinical decision-making. You will prepare and position patients for CT procedures, verify patient identification and exam orders, review clinical histories, and follow established protocols to ensure optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure in accordance with ALARA standards. Working collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and other members of the care team, you will communicate clearly about exam needs, adapt imaging techniques based on patient condition, and promptly notify providers of urgent or critical findings per department procedures. You will be responsible for safely administering IV contrast when ordered, monitoring patients for adverse reactions, and accurately documenting all medications, doses, and procedural details in the electronic health record. Daily responsibilities will include performing quality control checks, calibrations, and basic troubleshooting on CT scanners and related equipment, following infection prevention and safety policies, and maintaining a clean, organized, and patient-centered imaging environment. You will carefully follow departmental workflows, prioritize exams based on clinical urgency, and support both inpatient and outpatient imaging needs as assigned.
