Customer Service Representative $21.00

Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm/5pm


Distribution customers by accurately managing orders, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring clear communication between customers, and internal coordinating departments.

Essential Job Functions

Primary point of contact for customer inquiries, requests and problem resolution.

Provide order confirmations, delivery schedules and follow-up updates.

Professional communication with buyers. Store managers, club personnel and distribution teams.

Receive, review, and enter daily customer orders.

Verify accuracy of item codes, quantities, pack types and delivery dates before submitting to production.

Monitor order deadlines and ensure timely submission, specifically around holidays and high-volume times.

Confirm product availability.

Coordinate with production and QA teams regarding grading status, shrink levels, and pack-out timing.

Research and resolve customer issues as needed.

Process credits, adjustments and corrective documentation as needed.

Assist transportation and logistics departments as needed with communication with customers regarding missed, late deliveries, delays or weather-related issues.

Maintain accurate and organized customer records, order logs, and internal communication notes.

Support internal reporting related to daily orders, shortages and delivery performance.

Through customer communication, assistance with forecasting and early order confirmations during holiday and peak demand periods.

Perform other related duties as required/assigned.

Qualifications


High school diploma or equivalent required.

3 years’ customer service experience in food distribution, warehouse operations or retail support.

Proficiency in order-entry systems, ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong communication skills with ability to multi-task, prioritize, and remain calm during time-sensitive and high-volume periods.


Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Understanding of perishable product handling (lot codes, expirations dates, etc.)

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
