Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process endorsements, audit, policies, cancellations, reporting forms and invoicing according to R&Y procedures manual within acceptable time frame and with accuracy.
  • Issue new and renewal certificates of insurance and EPI’s.
  • Prepare and secure premium finance agreements and surplus lines non-admitted forms, as well as mod master.
  • Obtain P&C license after six months on the job.
  • Create/prepare proposals and presentations from direction of Client Managers.
  • Prepare various reports, exhibits and spreadsheets, including premium and loss recap, schedules of insurances, etc.
  • Input new client data and assist in applications for renewal process.
  • Maintain good documentation through use of good scanning procedures, telephone logs, notes, etc.
  • Handle team’s client discrepancies in a timely fashion.
  • Collect underwriting information such as loss runs, MVR’s, driver’s list, and experience mod worksheets.
  • Sort and distribute mail daily for team.
  • Maintain and monitor daily suspense to follow up on items requested of clients and carriers.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two years of full-time work experience, or at least a two year college degree.
  • Basic computer/data entry skills (agency management, word processing, spreadsheets).
  • Good interpersonal skills and customer focus.
  • The ability to do detailed work effectively and efficiently.
  • The ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
