Job Description POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible forplanning and leadingmultiple, complex,cross‑functionaltechnology initiativesfrom initiation through stabilization and operational handoff. This role provides delivery leadership across thefull Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)andinfrastructure‑relatedinitiatives, including planning, execution, data conversion, testing, cutover, andpost‑go‑livesupport.
This positionleadslarger‑scale,higher‑riskinitiativesthat spanmultiple systems, business functions, vendors, and workstreams, while providing mentorship, delivery rigor, and governance oversight across the portfolio. This role requires strong judgment, proactive risk management, and the ability tooperateeffectively in environments with ambiguity, changing priorities, and executive visibility.
Projects may span packaged applications (e.g., ERP, CRM), custom development, system integrations, data and analytics solutions, infrastructure modernization, and security initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep SDLC experience, strong business partnership skills, and comfortoperatingacrossWaterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery models.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Enterprise Project Delivery & Leadership
Leadfuturemultiple concurrent IT-enabledprojectsranging from moderate to high complexity, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and outcomes
Serve as theprimary delivery ownerfor complex,cross‑functionalinitiatives that require coordination across business units, IT teams, and external partners
Apply disciplined project governance practices while adapting delivery approaches to fit project needs and organizational maturity
Proactivelyidentifydelivery risks, dependencies, andtradeoffs; escalate with recommendations and mitigation strategies
Ensure projects are deliveredon time, on budget andin alignment with businessobjectives, compliance requirements, and technology standards.
Projects may include initiatives across:
Applications
ERP platforms (e.g., Workday)
Property management and real estate systems (Yardi)
CRM platforms andbrokerapplications
System integrations, APIs, and middleware
Infrastructure and foundational IT services
Securityplatforms and services
Selected non-ITbusinessinitiatives as needed
SDLC & Delivery Methodology
Lead projects throughall SDLC phases: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Control, Deployment, and Stabilization
Own or coordinate delivery across project workstreams including:
Project management
Functional and process design
Application configuration or development
Integrations and interfaces
Data conversion and reporting
Testing and validation
Security and controls
Training andorganizationalchange management
Select,tailorand applyWaterfall, Agile, or hybrid methodologiesbased on solution architecture, vendor approach, and business readiness
Facilitateor leadAgile ceremonies (where applicable) and ensure delivery discipline regardless ofmethodology
Maintain delivery discipline, governance standards, and documentation across all methodologies
Provideexecutive sponsors andsteeringcommittees withtimelyand actionable status, insights, andandrecommendations
Stakeholder Management & Business Partnership
Partner closely with business leaders and subject matter experts to translate strategic and operational needs into actionable delivery plans
Provide clear, concise, and actionable project communications tailored to executive, leadership, andteam‑levelaudiences
Act as atrusted advisorto sponsors by providing transparency, insights, and recommendations to support informed decisions
Supportportfolio‑levelplanning byidentifyingcross‑projectdependencies, risks, and optimization opportunities
Contribute to delivery standards, templates, and improvements in PMO practices and governance
Mentor less senior project managers as needed, providing guidance on delivery approach, issue management, and stakeholder engagement
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree inBusiness, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Demonstrated experience leading projects that includedata conversion/migration and UAT throughsign‑off
Working knowledge of theSDLCandhands‑onexperience managing projects usingWaterfall and/or Agile methodologies
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
8–10+ years of progressive IT project management experience, including leadership oflarge‑scaleor enterprise initiatives
Demonstrated experience leading projects withdata conversion/migration and UAT through businesssign‑off
Strong working knowledge of theSDLCandhands‑onexperience delivering projects usingWaterfall and Agile methodologies
Experience managingmultiple concurrent projectswith competing priorities and stakeholders
Experience working with common project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Monday.com, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge ofCommercial Real Estate (CRE) services and business operations
DirectCommercial Real Estate industry experience(e.g., brokerage, property management, development, facilities, tenant services)
Experience with financial systems and/or accounting degree
PMP,Certified ScrumMasterorother recognized project managementcertifications
