the planning and implementation of future IT development projects and undertaking project work including project management duties.
Responsibilities: Planning and scheduling the installation of new or modified network hardware and systems Managing accounts and network rights Configures network hardware and software infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, and virtual devices in VMware Analyzes and resolves faults, ranging from major system crash to a forgotten password Ensuring systems availability, functionality, integrity, and efficiency;
maintaining
systems configuration Managing the installation and integration of system fixes, updates, and enhancements Ensuring the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices P

he shift hours are 1st – 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, 2nd 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm, and 3rd – 10:00 pm – 6:30 am (the following day)

Requirements: Secret
Clearance or eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance 1
-2 years of hands-on experience as a Network Administrator. High
School Diploma or GED 8570
IAT Level II Certification and CND Infrastructure Support within 6 months Demonstrating
a solid understanding of firewalls, routers, switches, and other network technologies including Palo Alto and Cisco Firewalls Experience
with LAN/WAN, VPN, IPS and associated technologies Experience
with
TCPDump
, Wireshark and analyzing network traffic Understanding of essential network services such as DNS, SMTP, NTP, IMAP, and SNMP
